760 WJR's audio will continue to sound like over modulated garbage. Its ratings will also sag.

1160 will continue to air Brother Stair 24/7.

93.1 will see a format shift or outright format change.

WCSX will see another air talent shakeup.

WDVD will see an air talent shakeup.

Alt 98.7 stays the course; minor music tweak possible. 6+ AQH share stays in the mid 2s or improves modestly.

Budget ax hits WRIF, although not as harshly as what CSX recently suffered.

Beasley Media seeks to reorganize in Chapter 11.

WOMC's Beau starts to do air shifts for other Audacy stations.

WLLZ stays the course.

Channel 7 gains ground on WDIV in local news ratings.

Channel 62 doesn't launch early morning or midday newscasts until August or September. The weekday afternoon and evening newscasts will launch the final week of January or first week of February. The 11PM newscasts average a 2.0 rating; the others earn a 1.0 rating (placing them behind everyone else by a country mile).

At some point, WXYZ-Channel 7 will offer sports director Brad Galli an opportunity to become a lead anchorman and leave sports. It's happened with other talents.

Does he have the talent to fill those shoes?

For a while, I wasn't too fond of his sports desk anchoring - I really liked Tom Leyden - but in the past few years, Galli has done a decent job.

People still post in the tired Ron Cameron thread. I am not one of them.
I was quote tweeted in the awful thread by the nerds there - I still have not, and will not post there.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

No matter how much I try, I will never understand that thread.

They enjoy mocking an elderly man who purchases air time.

That thread don't bother me as long as momo and his cohorts keep the banter there.

What irks me somewhat is when one of Cameron's groupies thinks something Ron said or did is so newsworthy, they start another thread to announce it to all who could care less.

It does surprise me somewhat that anyone not interested in Cameron opens the thread and looks at it.
Myself, there are threads here on Buzzboard I never look at. The beer thread in Chatterbox and the Drew and Mike thread are two that come to mind. Just don't interest me so why look at it.

If you don't care for the topic at hand, why click on it?

Really?!? Ron Cameron Crazy (h/t Bob Page) is a living, breathing classic SNL character. And his throwback, longest-running talk show in the history of the galaxy is a mash-up of the Theaters of the Mind & the Absurd, Seinfeld, Queen for a Day & Sunset Boulevard.

Sorry, Round Six, but I just had to emerge from the safe confines of the Ron Cameron thread to defend Scoop's die-hard "fans."

Where else but on The Ron Cameron Show can you hear Match Game, To Tell The Truth and JFK talk. Where else can you hear callers that, most of the time, are completely clueless that it's a sports talk show. Where else can you hear a totally washed up host who hasn't been relevant in over 35 years. Where else can you hear the host turn a interview with a guest into another long gone story about himself. The only reason we all listen is because the show is so horrible that it's actually funny. It's the best comedy show on the radio. It's like that 22 car pile up on the freeway that you can't keep your eyes off.
