WTF are they doing with Jason Scott? I think he is excellent in that daypart, so I have no clue why on earth this change is being made.

I’ve heard Jason is leaving the industry. This is a giant loss for the station - he was terrific in every day part. Who’s Jonathan Carlson?

Mr. Carlson was a pretty good reporter at WXYZ back in the day (about six or seven years ago). Did some investigative and hard news reporting, as I recall.

Sorry to hear Jason Scott is leaving! I knew something was going on when I heard Jonathan Carlson doing the evening shift on Saturday March 5th. The next morning, he and Roberta Jasina did an hour (9:00AM?) together.

Jonathan Carlson started his new shift today, I believe.
He sounds really good; TV folks sometimes struggle making the transition to radio. No such issue with Mr. Carlson; he is a worthy successor to Jason!
