NBC Olympics Show Nothing

It's like they go out of their way to show NOTHING of live coverage except for endless snowboarding! I don't get cable so I rely on Ota. They haven't shown a minute of either mens or women s hockey, no long track speed skating and almost no figure skating. It is like they have no faith in their ability to make anything interesting!

It makes me happy that these Olympics are a disaster. Fuck China, fuck NBC and fuck the Olympic committee for letting China host yet again. I feel bad for the athletes though.

Quit complaining. I’m enjoying the NBC coverage on all of their channels: NBC, USA, CNBC, Peacock - you’re not just watching NBC, right? And yes, we enjoy CBC, too.

The thing is that numerous people have ditched cable, and can't afford, or are reluctant to subscribe to, a streaming service. So for some, NBC is the only choice for Olympic coverage.

NBC has aired figure skating live mens and pairs last week the ladies it was on tape delay was live on USA for the early morning crowd. NBC does a good job with the Olympic coverage been watching late at night on USA.

Last night's coverage of Kamila Valieva, the 15yr old Russian figure skater, was very compelling. The "in your face" emotion was one of the most moving displays I've seen in the Olympics. Sad and real. Poor kid was ruined.

Not sure why NBC doesn’t show more Olympics in daytime.
They show junk in that time slot anyway.
CBC shows lots of Olympics, and you can get Olympics on Prime.

The Olympics are disgusting in some respects. It's about corrupt political leaders stroking their egos, corrupt coaches stroking their egos, and in at least a handful of cases, winning at all costs (and if athletes suffer mental, physical or emotional abuse in the process, no big deal).

Ratings were down big compared to the last games. I only watched portions of the games on a handful of days and agree with some of the criticisms directed toward NBC.

Beijing should've never been picked as a host city. No country with a horrible human rights record present day should be allowed to host.
