Did WJR broadcast the FEMA EAS test NPT at 2:20pm today?
Did it go out over the air, or perhaps
they just did NOT relay it on their streaming,
as of 2:36pm absolutely nothing heard on the WJR stream.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through May 12 at 7:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Re: WJR- FEMA Alert Test?
WJR did at least originate the EAS test locally. WJBK and WXYZ-DT3 ran it.
My furthest DTV tropo: KDKA Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 202 miles for three days in January 2017 and a night in September 2017 with only an Antennas Direct C2V!
Current setup: Antennas Direct C2Max (2018-present)

It worked over the air.

Re: WJR- FEMA Alert Test?
I suppose this is just as good a thread to ask, but why does 107.1 in Ann Arbor constantly run the EAS alerts for severe weather? I must have heard 5 or 6 break in's for storm warnings in Indiana and Ohio.

FCC Sets Nationwide EAS-WEA Test Date
On Friday, the FCC said it will conduct a nationwide test of the EAS and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) on Aug. 11 at 2:20 p.m. EDT, with a backup date of Aug. 25 at 2:20 p.m. EDT. FEMA will initiate the WEA portion of the nationwide test using the State/Local WEA Test category. Only those subscribers who have opted in to receive WEA test messages will receive the test message. Participating CMS providers are required to transmit the State/Local Test message and enable subscribers to opt in to receive it. FEMA will transmit the alert in both English and Spanish. All EAS participants are required to participate in this nationwide EAS test.
