I wasn't here for his hey day around 1970, but I enjoyed him at WABX in the late 1970s. When I was home from college in the summers, his lunchtime show was great, especially the deadpan, satirical way he would report the news.

Sad news....Jerry was an original Air Ace on WABX. Listened to his Lunch with Lubin show for many yrs on ABX.Had a very dry on air presentation , if you have heard Earle Bailey on SXM thats what his style was. Jerry was also a jock in the early 80's on the original WLLZ after ABX flipped from AOR.Jerry hosted a show on Wheelz called " Sunday morn. classics".

Early career stories about Jerry Lubin, once known as "Jerry O'Neill". Commentary and recollections by Peter Cavanaugh, Bill Pearson, and other early coworkers. None of this is in the obituaries I have seen. Sorry to hear this.

In this YouTube audio, Jerry has the deeper voice. They are referring to the Love Stinks album by J. Geils which was released in early 1980.
