So would adding the streaming number of 0.6 to WXYT-FM’s 5.5 rating make them first with a total of 6.1?

I thought that the combination of Rico and Valenti was suppose to be rating poison?

WDFN going to BIN eroded whatever numbers they had. Does this format draw anywhere? I’ve heard the New Orleans and Dayton stations- the latter is on a terrible Class IV signal.

WJR’s bounce is obviously due to the election.

I think BIN on WDFN was also for the election.

Dayton on 1210?
Not class C, rather class D - true daytimer (no night operation except in an emergency).

If Cumeless insists on 93.1 staying country, knowing that corporate radio would never be adventurous enough to try an alt-country/real country format, they should at least flip it to Nash Icon/country gold. Brand it something like Real Country 93.1 FM, Detroit's Real Country 93.1 FM, Country 93.1 WDRQ, Q Country 93-1 FM, Great Country 93-1 (Great Country for the Great Lakes). 93-1 W4 Country sounds good too for a gold-bases station, but I doubt that's happening.

Play country that essentially starts from the beginning of the Randy Travis era in 1985 through 2010. Have a format that is 20% 80's country, 40% 90's country and, 40% 2000's country. Lean heavy into the superstar artists like Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Clint Black, Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Randy Travis, Reba, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith.

Bring in Chuck Edwards to be the PD and slide Bubba over from Ann Arbor to host the morning show and any other Detroit radio veterans you can find still out there.

Mornings: Breakfast With Bubba (Bubba, Renee Vitale, and Madison Rally)
Middays: Sandy Kovach
Afternoon Drive: Chuck Edwards
Nights: Probably syndicated

Hard to believe that iHeart has done another round of Detroit cuts while Cumulus stays the course without an FM station in the Top 13 in the market.
