Depending on the CH format you're doing, Elvis fits albeit just two songs, Suspicous Minds (69) and Burning Love (72).

While he may not get airplay in DET (or on most Entercom CH stations), older skewing WMJI/CLE still plays the above two.

Elvis SUCKS!!!

His removal from radio station playlists eveywhere is one of a very few bright spots in an otherwise dreary period for commercial radio!
I don't think he sucked. I think he was a lot better than most of the songs he sang, and his endless touring from the late '60s onward was to line The Colonel's pockets more than to help Elvis as an artist. When the movies stopped, the concerts started. Commerce was much more important than art for Parker, and Elvis did little to stop that arrangement. The '68 Comeback Special, as it's become known as, was largely because Elvis was tired of the endless movie/soundtrack hamster wheel he'd been on since the Army stint ended.

When Presley had better material and he was interested in his work, be it music or movies, he could more than deliver a great song or film. He wasn't challenged much by what he was doing, and it showed in a lot of the resulting product.

Majic is still playing '60s music?
