Not a peep from Price during Dickenson's call. There's a video clip of his call online and Price is nowhere to be seen/heard. I wonder if he left the booth on his own or was removed until Miggy's at bat was over.

I just wish Jimbo would retire. He’s 80, in poor health as he no longer does road games and adds nothing to the broadcast. Petry, C-Mo, Andy Dirks or even Brandon Inge sounded better than him when they’ve filled in

I’ll be in Lakeland tomorrow and Friday watching the Tigers. Where I’m sitting, I’ve ran into Dan Dickerson before between innings when he’s stepped out to get fresh air (or get away from the bag of hot air sitting next to him). I swear, if I ran into Jim Price, I’d ask him why he hasn’t retired yet, especially with his health issues, plus remind him that he’s not Ernie Harwell by any means

Jim Price was in classic form today for opening day. New season, same old shit: laughing at inappropriate times, interrupting Dickerson, breathing heavy, mumbling and stumbling through live commercials, repeating “that’s right, Dan” to everything Dickerson would say and best of all, eating on the air.
