If we're talking the anchor "A" team - probably somewhere in the range of $250,000 to $500,000 a year. "B" team? Probably $125,000 to $200,000 a year.

I suspect Devin Scillian and Huel Perkins are the highest paid news anchors in the market. I bet Scillian makes $750,000 a year at least.

Reporter salaries probably range from $50,000 to $75,000 for those who are relatively young. I'm sure seasoned pros such as Rod Meloni of WDIV earn six figures easily.

I am not even going to begin to guess what the folks behind the scenes make.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Huel is near or over the cool million mark.
Would surprise me if they pay that much money to the least watched local newscaster in that time slot.

There is NO WAY anyone is making 750k anymore in Detroit. 250-500? Yeah, maybe 400, but that's about it.

Absolutely no way anyone makes more than 300k in Detroit these days. You barely make that nationally.
New Reporters likely make 40-50k starting.
The days of big paychecks and outrageous contract demands are gone.
