I have a love/hate thing with Fellhauer. He is actually full of knowledge about the past of the show and current pop culture. I think he really helps carry the show. But at times he can be so damn condescending. I'll never forget the time Charlie Leduff put him in his place on the podcast. Overall I guess I like him though, at least 80% of the time.

LeDuff vs Fellhauer was epic. Probably my fave moment ever on the podcast.

Anyone know which show this duel with LeDuff and Fellhauer happened on? I’d like to listen.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember the exact date, but on the podcast web site you can filter all the episodes by host. Charlie only hosted 39 of them, so at least that limits it somewhat. My guess is the episode would be at some time in 2016. Just a guess though.

I like Maz a lot. He seems like a great guy and a ton of fun. However, like Drew said they had a certain show four days a week and a totally different one on Wednesday. Hopefully they will actually use him as a correspondent, as that would be his best fit with that crew.
If there was a show I’d like to hear him on occasionally, it would be the no filter show.
I love Maz but at the same time I got Drews point. I'll still listen but the Tuesday show with Maz was one of the first things I listened to on Wednesday. I wonder why Maz wasn't included in the No Filter Sports show? His new podcast Maz and friends is ok but I think they have too many people there it would be a lot better if it was just him and Clarence Black.
In regards to Marccccc I like him but his constant defending of the Epstien "suicide" gets on my nerves with all the evidence coming out.

Maz brought absolutely NOTHING to the table. Was on the phone half the time. Brought up pointless topics and anecdotes that had no relevance. He's more suited to a sports podcast. He would do fine there. But a "current events" podcast like DMP? He was out of place and it was obvious.

"Power Hungry Big Head" Drew has absolutely lost his mind. Warning signs of CHANTIX/HGH side effects.
Now that he's blown-out Mazawey he's demanding guests from ML, both things that he
despised about radio...
Maz became an on-air punching bag for Drew and his suckling subordinate.
As uncomfortable as it was to listen to imagine how Tom felt, no wonder why he hid behind his cellaphone.
Just to have more in common w/ Drew, Maz even suffered thru The Bachel-wh0re...
"NOT A SPORTS PODCAST" only applied to MAZ Day.
Obvious when they have a SPORTSBOOK sponsor, Drew & Marc constant 105.1 sports chatter and the popular Lock-of-the-week. I'll hang-up and listen for when it completely comes unglued...

I've always was a big fan of Drew & Mike, all through the RIF days. And, even followed them to 105.1. I was listening to the podcast religiously, but I became bored. It's too long, and now, I understand they've gotten rid of Maz. Now, I probably won't listen at all!

Yes. He rarely said anything, until Marc or Drew asked him what he was looking at on his phone. Maz couldn't even pre-read the soft rock segment. He had no interest in current news topics, just sports. He mostly watched TV that aired on the major 3 networks which Drew and Marc are elitists about and don't watch, just HBO and Netflix, so nothing to talk about there. Maz also went to his daughters' activities, so they busted his balls on that. They also made fun of his bowling. He was definitely treated as an outsider from day one, but he didn't help change that.

They'll talk about sports for an hour on Sunday night's podcast, but on Maz day they always said this is not a sports podcasts. They were total jerks to him, but he didn't help himself by constantly looking at his phone, and barely participating in conversations until they asked him what he was looking at on his phone.

Does Maz still work at Szott Ford? If he does, I might stop by and meet him.

He is not listed on the "staff" section of their website, but Jim Bentley is. Another name I remember from D and M.

The podcast has gone downhill a lot lately. Maz days were great. But in the past 3 or 4 months you curls tell he was checked out. I think he had been beaten down so much by Drew and his butt boy Marc. I'd rather hear 5 days of maz with them than drew talk about true crime for 2 hours.

The show itself is just way too long too. An hour a day would be enough.

Seems like they have an ad read every 5 minutes too. I get that ads butter their bread but it's intrusive more and more.

Some of the descriptions here sound an awfully lot like the final few years of their run in mornings at WRIF. I didn't like the show then. Obviously, I wouldn't like it now,

Glad to see I'm far from alone in my disdain for Marc Fellhauer.

I know how hard Drew works on the show and how much he puts into the business, so I get why they're doing certain things. It's not a charity or a "for fun" thing at this point. It's a mature podcast with a ton of downloads and it supports a lot of people in terms of jobs.

He left back in July or August I believe. The reason was because he had to drive all the way to Holly and that was a long drive every single day.

Sometimes things aren't a good fit on either end and that both sides are better off having moving on.
