Also, in this reddit review of Allen Park, one person says, "Based from crime alerts and not personal experience, I would stay away from the side that is Northeast of Southfield, Allen Park Motor Lodge, and close to Lincoln Park."
The infamous motel maid is referenced in the first link. If Ron insists that having access to Bally Sports Detroit is indispensable to offering his fans his keenest insight, I suggest he seek to add a new sponsor, the Pinkerton private security agency:
Bobbert, Rich was on his way out with the Grand Rapids Griffins as I joined WOOD Radio. Pretty sure he took that job thinking he was on to bigger things. Maybe it's good he didn't stick around town long enough to have (name removed by request) become his "Joe." PS-I am impressed with the Buzzboard's cloaking device!

It's interesting that Rich's LinkedIn page doesn't include any of his past experience, just what he's currently doing.
With the strong hitting by Kerry Carpenter of the Tigers the last couple of days, some questions come to mind:
Who will be the first person to refer to him as "Karen Carpenter"—Ron or Kurt?
Will it be accidental or an intentional attempt at "humor"?
Will Ron forget that Karen Carpenter died about 40 years ago and ask how she is doing now?
Bobbert, you may be giving the old boy too much credit to think he even knows of Karen Carpenter. As he had no clue what a reference to “In the Ghetto” had to do with Elvis, it’s no sure bet. If he does know the name, he may have some confusion as to who she was, as when he referred to the Broadway columnist - & WML panelist - Dorothy Kilgallen (per Ron, “killed” in 1965 on the orders of a then-dead JFK), as “a beautiful actress.”
I was watching Gomer Pyle last night. Gomer's girlfriend Lou Ann Poovie was making that funny face that she makes when she is utterly befuddled and bewildered by something. It seemed to represent the reaction of first-time listeners to Ron Cameron.
As I listen to the podcast of the first hour, I'm under the impression that Ron was somewhat "wound up" as a result of being "robbed" the day before. (Please understand that I'm sympathetic to any victim of crime and Ron is no exception.) Also, kudos to WDTK for posting the podcast(s) promptly.
