Who is this guy and why is everyone so obsessed with him?

They/them, non-binary and proud.

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

He's Ron Cameron, dammit. The most legendary (in his own mind) sports talk host (brokered radio shows on non-rated stations) in America. For over 50 years dispensing his unprepared, ill-informed, repetitive, petty, mean-spirited, selfish, narcissistic takes to an audience of "7 callers," at least one of whom is an obvious troll, who can't get enough of this grifter, who, at 76, has only lived in motels/hotels his entire adult life, &, even during the pandemic, is planning yet another (dive) restaurant, a development which, after so much hype & unrealized promises, always ends in heartache & recriminations.

And he can be heard on wpon.com, 1460 AM, Fridays from 11-1 & Saturdays from 2-4.

Ron promised us a guest this weekend. No two ways about it. And an announcement about his restaurant. We shall see.

For any new listeners, “too much on his plate” is to be interpreted literally. He breakfasts every morning - inside, no less - at Ram’s Horn.

Leave it to Ron to remember Hank Aaron as a racist!

I was wondering about that, if anyone with sports history could expand on this

Didn’t Ron bump Kurt - who can’t take a hint, btw - to do one of his long overdue spots?! And then he takes Mr. Positive’s call! And Ron thinks the players in Cobb’s era were better than in Aaron’s time!

Mr. Positive’s “scoring” reference about Wilt went over Ron’s head.

This can be explained simply. Hank Aaron had talent and soared. RC just wishes he had some and keeps tanking.

You don’t put baby in the corner & you don’t tell Ron to sit down.
