I hope Ron does not suffer the same fate as Mike Francesa. .Granted Francesa was no Ron Cameron but Ron is still risking his legacy.I hope he reconsiders and does not return.I.want to remember Ron as a sports talk giant not a washed up.has been.
With all respect, Kidcat, that ship set sail so very long ago, well before the turn of the century.

Wow what a fantastic show.My fears of Ron being washed up are gone.Only to be replaced by the fear that Ron will leave to go to a bigger market. The offers must be pouring in .Granted leaving WPON would be hard to.do but it is radio.and stranger things have been known to happen.

Your cheekiness was lost on me, Kidcat. My bad.

The offers must be pouring in .
Like the Rhinestone Cowboy, R Sizzle is "getting cards and letters from people [he doesn't] even know, [with] offers coming over the phone."

Alex used to manage one of Ron's restaurants?
Yes. When I was 21 he pulled me out of an Arby's I was managing and gave me the opportunity to become a G.M. at such a young age. It helped my resume and really was a good learning experience. Also it lasted longer than any other restaurant he had.

Continuing his tradition of being a low-information caller, Dave from Warren couldn't remember LeBron James's name, confusing him with Kobe Bryant.

I believe Martin is channeling emailer "Brian" to ask questions he wants to pose. If so, he's taking a page from Ron's (unwritten) book.

And this County Health director is apparently a roving director. Ron alternates by saying he's from Oakland and Macomb county.

No, Ron, you were not the first sports talk show host in America:

Barry Bonds was Willie Mays's stepson?! Godson, stepson, Oakland/Macomb county. It's all the same from the guy who jumps on every caller who makes any kind of mistake.

I feel like my e-mail about Willie Mays was an absolute waste of time. Maybe I should have asked if Ron knows if Jake Rogers has received his COVID-19 shot yet.

Ron is so invested in the success of Jake Rogers that if he can hit close to .200 he'll be a star in Ron's mind.

You might be right. I sent in an e-mail before those questions.

I have a full glass of orange juice in front of me. I'm going to take a sip every time Alex uses the word "actually." I expect to have an empty glass by 3:30.

Alex, please disabuse Ron from his certitude that Howie Haak is in the MLB HOF. If he persists, you can tell him that he's entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.
