So this sports show host, who waxes eloquence on his watching What’s My Line, To Tell the Truth & Match Game at his new hotel, can’t comment on the Dodgers-Astros donnybrook because he didn’t see it?!

I agree! So Ron is loving this hotel where he’s living because an “all-new” in-room cable package is providing him with 100 channels of content that is totally energizing Ron! Granted, the shows he’s talking about are repeats decades old and can often be picked up with a decent set of those new-fangled digital “rabbit ear” antennas. What a trip!

Yes, because EVERYTHING revolves about Ron. I remember Mark Wilson talking about some gathering of ex-Detroiters in Las Vegas. Breathlessly, Ron interrupted to ask if they knew him!

I suspect Ron will be devastated to discover that the BuzzR channel he's now getting at the Waldorf Astoria doesn't air What's My Line overnight on weekend nights.

And with Ray Scott as his scheduled guest tomorrow, what are the odds Ron - as he always does - brings up their shared history concerning Pres. Kennedy's assassination? (I may be fuzzy on the details, but I believe it has something to do with them both then being on the 6th floor of the School Book Depository building.) He even brought it up today just promoting his guest tomorrow.

That is a given. I recall the last time Ray Scott was on last summer, Ron went straight into the story and Ray told him we've already repeated this story like he was annoyed.

Is Ron blaming The Patriot for not directing callers like Cowboy & JJ to his "new" station?! Both were both aware of Ron's long-time affiliation with WPON, so if they were able to call now they surely would.

I heard Cowboy on the radio this morning on a different station so he's still around.

Good to hear that Cowboy's still around. He's got a birthday this coming week. I'm wondering if that other station has a toll-free number, as the lack of one at Ron's current station has been my theory for why he Cowboy's never called WPON.

That roommate Rich Niemann story (which, of course, Ron has told before) doesn't hold up. The Bucks were going into their second season & looking at a coin toss with Phoenix for the 1st pick in the draft, the then-Lew Alcindor. So Niemann shouldn't have had too much confidence that he'd be the Bucks's starting center that upcoming season.
