No NFL picks for tomorrow’s games, I am guessing those will come tomorrow

The restaurant’s been “coming” for a long time, well before the pandemic. It’s a dance we’ve been put through for years. And when he finally does open one, with lots of fanfare & expectations, it always closes very quickly. With lots of recriminations.

MLB is talking about expanding, thereby putting lots of money in the hands of the owners. Not that Ron would know anything about that.

A hat trick for the Bowie story today! Dave from Warren remains clueless about just about everything.

I was tuning in and out for hour #2 but I did hear him rip on his motel again calling it a dump. This must have replaced trivia.

The whole premise of talking David Bowie has to do with it being Bowie's birthday, today? An oldies station on the west side of the state that I listened to pointed out this was Elvis' and Bowie's birthday, earlier.

Mr. Positive, the 1st caller, mentioned that it was Elvis’s birthday, but I thought it was Kurt in the 2nd hour who said it was David Bowie’s birthday, too (who needs Cowboy, the birthday chronicler?!), meaning something else would’ve triggered the earlier, random reference to Bowie. It may just have been the Match Game episode Ron had just seen in which the contestant & panelist had to match David _. And the Bowie answer triggered the George Kell story. Tomorrow is Dick Nixon’s birthday. Maybe Ron has a Nixon story, too. Or, in this weekend of celebrating his idol Elvis’s birth, Mr. Positive can talk about the Nixon-Elvis White House summit.

January 9 is also the birthday of the late Bart Starr and Jimmy Page.

During Ron’s riveting discussion of the David Bowie question on Match Game, he mentioned when the amount of surprise almost “knocked him off the bed”! R-Sizzle watching decades old game shows in a downriver hotel bed...talk about “Theater Of The Mind” radio?!
