Yeah, I’m concerned about Matt’s future on the show.

Ron’s ignorance never ceases to amaze me. In response to a caller who stated his understanding that, unlike other sports, MLB draft picks could not be traded, Ron said of course they can be. They cannot. And baseball’s supposed to be his area of expertise.

I cannot believe he’s once again peddling this patently false story about Cal Ripken. The power outage occurred AFTER Ripken broke the record. And the actor allegedly involved with Mrs. Ripken was Kevin Costner, not, as Ron just said, Mel Gibson.

Ron is yawning now..lol.. No calls in the second hour.

So did Matt stiff Ron today? Ron would have been best served while he was off for 10 weeks, learning the basics of computer skills. Ron says changes will be made.....LOL , he'll have Matt back next week. Nobody wants to work with him. I tuned in late but the show sounds like a complete DUD. Ron talking about where he's going to eat and how him and Harbaugh ate like 10 times togther and Harbaugh had Ron "entertain" his dad....lol.

Without a producer by his side, his WPON Friday shows were always duds. Very few callers, no guests, no access to emails, no tantrums. But at least we can look forward to at least one trivia question a show. Soon Ron will have to turn to his ever-loyal "insurance callers," with nary an explanation of why they can't at least call during their 12:00 lunch period. And if he corrals guests, with only 2 lines (& no studio hotline), one for the guest & one for the caller, what possibly could go wrong?!

I believe the competitive balance picks can be traded which are ones acquired for a qualifying free agent. Ron didn't state that though and overall normal picks can't be.

I missed the show today, what did Ron say about Matt? Last week everything seemed ok, Matt called in and read some emails. Was that other guy there from the radio station?

I think Ron just alluded to some problems. I don't think he mentioned Matt's name. First he said they'd have emails in a few weeks, then he said maybe by next week. And the other guy from the radio station was there.

Ron's like the fluffy news report that just fills up air space. He talks and says very little of anything substantial. I don't blame Matt if he leaves the show, but hopefully Ron's sidekick can figure it out to create some entertainment

I thought Ron was on Saturday 2-4pm. I just happened to check in and it’s “Happy Together” on right now...whoops, Ron’s here just a couple minutes late. Oh, goody gumdrops a “quiz question”!

This quiz feature is really invigorating the show. I take back all the things I said about Ron doing no pre-show planning. But where is Ron getting his information without access to his library computer?
