This is a test signal for ATSC 3.0 technology, I suspect.

It is nothing to do with ATSC 3.0.
It is some thing actually called "DABL" about which pretty much nothing is known, yet.
It is not Decades.

Yeah I have no idea what DABL could be, there is no news about any new digital sub channels launching soon. Google search for DABL turns up nothing TV related. I guess we will wait and see.

62.3 is still showing up when flipping channels but with nothing on the screen. Weird.

Hey, so I just signed up on the forum for this thread solely. However, I'll talk here more often because I'm a big TV nerd. Anyway...

I emailed WWJ and they said they couldn't quite say what's going to be on that sub yet and said that it's only up for engineer testing right now, but whatever DABL is, it'll be active this September.

As of yesterday, the station is gone from the lineup.

I just checked and it's still listed on my TV.

My furthest DTV tropo: KDKA Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 202 miles for three days in January 2017 and a night in September 2017 with only an Antennas Direct C2V!

Current setup: Antennas Direct C2Max (2018-present)

You might want to rescan your channels.

You guys do realize these networks pay the stations to run their programs don't you?

The network that pays the most gets the channel.

For the record, Decades doesn't pay very well.
