Good article.

Oddly, 106.7 was not mentioned.

I'd be interested in hearing the LeDuff podcast. His articles for Deadline Detroit are good.

So, download it. He's been doing it for a couple months now.

Yeah, I guess even verifiable numbers are no match for the negativity.

I can't believe that Dunkin Donuts didn't have a plunger.

I bet they get one tomorrow!

Didn't Drew used to live in West Bloomfield?

He did. Yes. But life happened and he started investing in properties with his better half and now that provides quite a good income.

Are you working for/with Drew? You seem to be a spokesperson for him.

The spotify numbers are impressive. How might 150,000 unique weekly listeners translate into broadcast shares in Detroit for 6a - 10a persons 12+?

He nominated me in the DBR for "not getting podcast humor", which I felt was fishy

So he seems to be a reasonable person.

Well, you think the moon is fake, so I'm guessing humor isn't the only thing you don't quite get.

It takes more work to find, download and listen to a podcast than it does to flip on a radio and turn a knob. On the FM dial in Detroit, you have about 20 to 25 choices. In the podcasting world, you have thousands upon thousands of choices.

So, 150,000 unique weekly listeners is extremely impressive, especially for someone whose name recognition is more or less limited to SE Michigan.

Over the course of the full week (all dayparts combined), most of the decent performers on the FM dial in Detroit have cume ranging from 600,000 on the low side to 1.2 million on the high side. If 6a to 10a were broken out individually, my guess is those numbers would range from 200,000 to 400,000.

The highest cume generators are the stations you'd likely expect - WNIC, WOMC and WKQI.

WRIF, WCSX, WDVD, WYCD and WWJ are impressive, too, but usually stay below the 1,000,000 barrier, if I'm not mistaken.
