I would love an Oldies Format on 93.1, But it would never happen. What Cumulus will Do has yet to be seen, Perhaps they will do nothing.non-anon bob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 6:33 pmI can hardly wait for the March book to come out in mid-April...CSX will be taking a BIG hit from Wheels! There is no way CSX will EVER attain a 7.8 share again, unless Beasley bribes the PPM survey participants. As for Gnash, I give them till May 1st to flip formats, hopefully to a 60's/70's "Classic Q" re-brand.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through April 25 at 5:30p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

What Cumulus ought to do is sell...sell...SELL!!!
I disagree with the assertion that WJR isn't dying. It *is* dying, albeit very gradually.
'JR used to be a perennial 7 share radio station. Then 6. Then 5. Now. a 3.5 share (with a median listener age that almost assuredly exceeds 60) is considered "normal."
Within five years, I predict WJR will struggle to grab a 2.5 share.

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

As much as I would LOVE that, an FM Oldies station just is out of the question until advertisers change their ways.non-anon bob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 6:33 pmI can hardly wait for the March book to come out in mid-April...CSX will be taking a BIG hit from Wheels! No they won't.non-anon bob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 6:33 pmI can hardly wait for the March book to come out in mid-April...CSX will be taking a BIG hit from Wheels!
They'll get some sampling for sure, but when people figure out it's the same shit different station, it's back to regular listening habits.
Re: February 2019 Radio PPM Ratings
93.1 would probably get higher ratings playing all-Seger
Re: February 2019 Radio PPM Ratings
94.7 & 101.1 will continue to do great, 106.7 is not hardly a threat, This is just “The Flavor Of The Week” for 106.7.armchair pd wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 1:43 amNo they won't.non-anon bob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 6:33 pmI can hardly wait for the March book to come out in mid-April...CSX will be taking a BIG hit from Wheels!

What's wrong with Huey Lewis and Joan Jett ? (By the way ,what do Joan Marie Larkin-Jett's birth name- and Al Kaline have in common ? Both are Baltimore,Md. natives . )

I don't WANT CSX and The RIFF to do great...I want them to SINK like the Titanic...and Wheels will be the iceberg that brings them down! Trudi and The Doc are BETTER rock-jocks than ANY of the air-staff @ Beasley!Steve Korvette wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 9:27 am94.7 & 101.1 will continue to do great, 106.7 is not hardly a threat, This is just “The Flavor Of The Week” for 106.7.armchair pd wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 1:43 amNo they won't.non-anon bob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 6:33 pmI can hardly wait for the March book to come out in mid-April...CSX will be taking a BIG hit from Wheels!

Cumulus should try Variety Hits - The Lake on 93.1
The Lake owned by iHeart in Cleveland is No1 on the ratings. Smashing. Cleveland and Detroit are very similar markets.

What do you mean "try variety hits"?
93.1 was variety hits for for 8 years.
Did you forget about Doug FM....?

Re: February 2019 Radio PPM Ratings
93.1 will stay Country for at least 6 more months.
