The Breeze bored me to tears today. Slow to mid-tempo bland 90’s songs. Ugh.

My car has a stack of CD’s that’s all The Wife and I listen to anymore, Or Kim just plugs in the IPhone and we stream. Radio is about dead as a music source and is on life support.

I decided not to even listen today.
I mean I turned it on once though.
Prince was playing.

I’m so tired of dead artist on the radio I mean how much Prince, Aretha, and Whitney can we take for God’s sake if they were still alive we wouldn’t hear them so much, No! let’s wait until they pass then we’ll play the hell out of them, Jesus Christ Almighty, I can’t handle it no more. (WOW! Am I pissed or what?)

Station sounds different this morning... Much less R&B in the playlist. And no Roni by Bobby Brown!!!! ( such an out-of-place song )
They are playing a wider selection of songs that "fit" the format.

I accepted the fact that radio stations do this all the time now. There are a few passed artists whose music I still enjoy, but I feel like radio stations think, "You think you were sick of them before? Well now that they died, we're going to celebrate their life with 96 hours straight of their music, then make them the biggest part of our playlist forever and ever! Isn't that a great memorial?" Radio is a graveyard in more ways than one.

Well said ZenithCKLW, And yes a few artists that have passed away that I like as well, It’s all in the name of ratings.

How come so little Eric "Slow Brain Racist" Crapton airplay? (for racism charge, see Crapton's Aug. 1976 agreement with long-ago U.K white nationalist politician Enoch Powell's 1968 "Rivers Of Blood" speech,in which Powell predicted racial strife if Britain continued to allow POCs from her former colonies to immigrate to the U. K.) Crapton may be (or was, given his far-too-late apologies for his bigotry) a bigoted dullard, but he is a d**n good guitarist.Besides, former local lad Ted Nugent,a known racist, homophobe and pedophile,to say nothing of cruddy axeman, still gets mondo airplay .

Yeah, I noticed that starting at midnight!

Oh, another song I think would be good to add is "Nobody Knows" by Tony Rich Project

I have that same question.
They should play "My Father's Eyes"

Why would Entercom try to create a station close in sound to another of their own? Chadd and Kristy sound like Stephen and JoAnne. The music on 98.7 sounds more and more like 104.3 these days. Both stations’ ratings will suffer.

Chad and Christy are not a good sound for The Breeze, Something is mismatched on that morning show. I don’t know what it is though.

I like them tbh.

I would obviously prefer a breakfast club type show, but they really aren't that bad

Flip it to Alternative. Entercom knows how to run Alternative.
