Does anyone know any good Soft AC stations I can listen to btw?
Besides the iHeart Breeze stations, 100.5 The River, and Easy 93.1?
The Seattle station that would interest you the most is probably 94.1 The Sound. One caveat, they have Delilah at night.

Can they move all the good songs to the day instead of having them in lunar rotation.
The station sounds amazing in the dead of night.
Jackson Browne's "The Loadout/Stay" is the type of song I'm listening to the format for.

I also find it funny that Barry Manilow and The Carpenters and other songs 98.7 removed are in regular rotation on the number 1 station in S.F., KISQ, 98.1 The Breeze.....
(I hate Barry Manilow though, lol)

The station has sounded better today than it has in quite a while. I've actually been listening nonstop since 1 pm!

I just looked at Entercom Soft AC "94.1 The Sound" in Seattle.
And omg, it's great!
I'm gonna start listening to that!
It is literally perfect!

And that are playing a lotttt of the songs ive suggested for the Breeze that didn't get added in.
I mean honestly based on the playlist, I would assume I was the PD, lol.
This is great. Their PD obviously understands the format very well, well almost perfect tbh.
This is a format that is very very easy to screw up too. (The Breeze examples that scenario perfectly)
you can't just play random "soft songs" and call it a day. There are very specific songs that make the format. The Sound's PD clearly undersands this,
Applause to them!!

EDIT:
The Breeze is finally playing Bonnie Raitt right now
This is one of the "specific songs" needed for the format.
Very good!

They added back a few more songs that got removed!
"Fallin' In Love" by Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds is playing atm.
This has not played since December.

EDIT:
Now "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor is on!
This one was even rare back on the old playlist. Glad it's back.

The last 6 posts have been by the same guy... but what does it matter, people like this station, and that's a good thing.

Thank you, we would have never known that without your genius comment.

But god forbid that I actually do something productive like give my feedback to the station while everyone else argues over snow, talking about the governor's outfit, or obsessing over which station has the loudest audio.

Eyy, it looks like these poor ratings did some good actually.
Let this be a learning lesson to them.

a whole bunch of more songs are back from the original playlist.
The Carpenters, Harry Nilson, Bread, Steve Miller Band, Eric Clapton, Paul Davis, and Bee Gees "To Love Somebody" so far!

I'm actually willfully about to turn on the station not to just kill boredom now!

It is no wonder that ratings haven’t risen too fast this far: too small of a playlist, constant tinkering with the playlist (softer AC? yacht rock? R&B AC? Today’s AC?...at least that Chadd and Kristy are allowed to talk more than they did earlier this week. Now it feels like they’re competing against their own (WOMC).

This station sucks so bad, That when Chad and Christy leave in about a year and the station flips again, Chad and Christy will then file for divorce 😆.

Steve, this should make you happy.
Enya is back.
"Orinoco Flow" is currently playing.
😍

I honestly hope they learned their lesson.
I was on the station's facebook earlier and it was just filled with comment after comment saying everything I've been saying in this thread

Now in the future,
When people say that love something, don't go and destroy it all. Use your brains please Tim and Ian.

I'm all for playing more Bonnie Raitt,so long as we don't have to look at her ugly mug .
