How can they expect to have reliable numbers when most people were listening to WNIC for Christmas music. It’s not fair to have assumptions with music playlists. They should start Looking into Numbers and taking notes now after the holidays, not before.

Listened for a minute this morning and they were playing Aerosmith. Not exactly R&B. Later heard Phil Collins.

Exactly. That is what I've been trying to say for weeks even before they changed the playlist

A month of ratings during the HOLIDAYS is the worst way to judge ratings.
People still had no idea it flipped AND everyone is listening to WNIC.
PLUS they are literally guessing that the soft rock tunes were causing issues. For all we know it was the other way around!

Why is common sense not a thing in the industry ?

I know it's a little early in the game but I don't see them putting much effort into this station. They should have on-air personalities lined up by now and a program director. They also should have better station voice overs and station jingles. I observe the other Breeze stations especially 106.1 in Philadelphia and they are constantly posting about their station on their Facebook page and the artist that they play and contests Etc the breeze only post b******* stuff. I look at my news feed and they post the exact same things as womc posts at the same time. They need to get this station going.

They are talking about how starting Thursday they are giving away 1,000 dollars every hour but they still have no on air lineup nor even a steady sound...really???

This is such a joke

Wednesday is the first business day of 2019. They could very well launch one then and this makes that more plausible...

steve....theyre doing the same thing as Ifart and Blackburn does,, they dont need a PD or MD or personalities. Its all cookie cutter.Just copy other playlists nothing personal or unique to lets say a Detroit.

Blackburns doing the same with Coolfm/Freefm.

Welcome to FM radio circa2019....... :barf

Yea, that's possible. Maybe it's going to be a surprise.
I just assumed they would try and draw attention by announcing a lineup

They finally added the Sheryl Crow song I kept going on about and a bunch more of the ones from my posts too.
That song fit in quite nicely too as I thought it would.

Steve...It actually sounds like Tim Roberts' voice doing the liners and promos! More "cost-saving," I presume. :eek

And we have a mid-day lady on now. Funny thing is they are not saying their names.

Strangely enough, this is how WLLZ made it's debut. At first, the air talent had no names.

I bet that this was very confusing so they decided to go with using names.

My furthest DTV tropo: KDKA Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 202 miles for three days in January 2017 and a night in September 2017 with only an Antennas Direct C2V!

Current setup: Antennas Direct C2Max (2018-present)
