Another new face at channel 7 weather

Post by MWmetalhead » Sun Dec 16, 2018 6:29 pm

Saw a young gentleman by the name of Mike Taylor present the weather on Circle 7 news at six.

I'm unfamiliar with his prior history, but my first impression was a positive one. He did a good job!

Does this mean Chris Edwards is finally retiring for real?

Let's see...they have Rexroth, Kevin Jeanes, Hally Vogel, Beth McLeod (who knows for how long) and now this Mike Taylor fella.

I still think Keenan Smith needs to go back to weather. Morning show is much better when Alicia and Anne Marie anchor together.

I saw him this weekend too. I thought he was a good solid young talent.

It looks like he's an in-house hire coming from the Scripps station in Baltimore, WMAR and was at WCIA in Champaign, Illinois before that. He's also a WBKB Alpena alum and a former WXYZ intern.

I like cheerful Beth . Mike Taylor also seems alike a good local raised addition to the team. Best to them .

Mike Taylor was also on last night at 11 and he did the presentation very well. Welcome to the team.

My furthest DTV tropo: KDKA Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 202 miles for three days in January 2017 and a night in September 2017 with only an Antennas Direct C2V!

Current setup: Antennas Direct C2Max (2018-present)

For all their problems they’ve never had a weather deficit... it’s kind of weird...

Except back when Olga Breese was on. She was utterly painful to watch.
