Detroit Drop cancelled

Post by jsf » Wed Dec 19, 2018 11:24 am

Something funny about this cancelling the Drop two weeks before it's time. They said it's about congestion downtown like they didn't know about this before now. They also said it will be back next year, maybe their planning on less congestion or whatever.

That sounds like a bunch of bs. Downtown didn't get more crowded this year.

Music is my life.

A little to early, I would say.

Sponsors obviously pulled out.

iFart used to be presenting sponsor. This originally began as a tie-in with now defunct 106.7 The D.

Downtown bars and restaurants *want* traffic, especially in the winter.

Lori Bennett and Bob Walker have turned WLAV from an iconic classic rock station into a ratings boondoggle. Sad.

Sponsors and or headlining talent pulled out. Vinnie and Sponge will be at the Wyandotte NYE drop again this year.
