Columbus Ohio station around 1998-99
Columbus Ohio station around 1998-99
For some reason this popped in my head today. I was down in The Columbus Ohio area for some reason, I want to say a flea Market. I happend to catch this station, I believe it was on 106.3fm, I remember the call letters were WCZZ and they were airing a smooth jazz format. Not sure if it was local or not, For some reason the call letters really stood out in my mind. I'm guessing the station didn't last too long, as Columbus had a smooth jazz on 103.5 and I think 104.3? as a simulcast.

106.3 is licensed to London, OH. (Southeast of Columbus) It doesn’t cover the entire DMA sufficiently, because of lower power and lower antenna height. It was Magic 106 when i was down there for a couple of years around 2013.
