Greg Bowman Retiring!

Post by radiojunkie2002 » Fri Jul 12, 2019 1:40 pm

Oh No! WWJ's Greg Bowman is retiring.
I will miss him. One of the best ever.
I remember him on WMJC back in the 80s.
Congratulations Greg!

Read the recent press regarding Entercom.

I doubt this was entirely willful on his part. He likely was told "retire now, or risk being downsized with a less generous severance package."

Mr. Bowman does an outstanding job and will be missed!

Wasn't this announced a couple of months ago?

I wonder who will succeed him in afternoon drive? My guess would be Rob Mason or Jason Scott.

Has anyone seen a list of job cuts @ Entercom's Detroit cluster? Please post them, if you have. I see, on her Facebook page, that Kim Adams will now be hosting middays on The Breeze from 9am-3pm, instead of the previous starting time of 10am. Chadd & Kristi will be starting a half-hour earlier than previously, airing from 5:30am-9am...Ch-Ch-Ch Changes! :-)

Corporate downsizing, that's all.
