So Mark Wilson's on tomorrow. That aside reference was quite a promotion of his only good guest.

Ron, your choice Jim Kaat isn't even on the Modern Era ballot. Good job keeping up on things!

Exactly who is new sponsor babyyourface.com targeting among Ron's handful of listeners? And the sponsor Ron said will be coming in tomorrow for an in-studio interview.

Poor Paul Woods. Ron spent half the interview doing play by play of the Alabama game.

Mark's pretty good although he does get tired in the second hour and starts giving a lot of "so what who cares" answers. He also loves saying over and over that the Pistons haven't won a playoff game in more than one decade.

I have never seen a show where the host promotes the following week guests in the middle of talking to the current guest. It's like Ron's biggest thrill of the show is to tell anyone who the guests are.

It's really a show about nothing, whose only seeming purpose is to support the Waldorf Astoria-living Ron's lavish lifestyle.

He has a good guest and he goes out of his way to tell a recycled story about himself and Herschel Bernardi. You just can't make this up.

You only need to listen to one show and you basically heard them all. I was wondering if anyone has any tape from his radio show back in the day? I’m talking about the 70’s where he wasn’t buying time.

Does he make anything off the show?

If I recall, I think Ron works on the trade/barter system, where the ads get read in exchange to fill his gut with food, maybe fix his car after an accident, or put a hotel roof over his head. I don’t know how the guy does it. Weird way to live.

Well he does talk about eating at Roma Cafe a few times a week so I'm assuming he's not paying

After listening to portions of the most recent podcast(s), it is obvious Ron needs to take some time out of his busy life and take one of those “Introduction To The World Wide Web” tutorials offered at a local library (something that’s been offered for at least 15-20 years now!). His incessant badgering of Matt because the information presented to Ron as he reads off stats and scores (that most everyone has at their fingertips) isn’t to his liking leads me to think Ron needs to learn for himself how to navigate the mystical, magical world of the Internet!

It will never happen. He's like an old mutty dog that cannot learn new tricks. He's too stuck in his ways to change. He has become extremely grouchy over the last couple years, I don't know how Matt works with him. Perhaps Matt owes someone community service or something? His remarks to Matt to keep it quiet, it's not your show are heard by the listening audience and do make bad radio. Perhaps Mr. Positive can have an inspirational one on one to get Ron's mind right. You have to admit Mr. P that is abuse!
