Ron Cameron In One Word:
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Ron treats Matt as if his incompetence is holding him back from achieving broadcast excellence. Hope his scheduled 6:00 guest - who worked for the NY "Mets" - shows up.

Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Bring Alex back! What happened to him? Matt is so awful and makes an already bad show even worse.

For a man who seems to have no friends, he sure was the best friend of so many, including, as he said today, Nestor Chylack. Why am I so skeptical?!

Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
What an awful show. At least his guest showed which is a big accomplishment these days for him. The lack of care and preparation is evident. Ron blaming Matt for not having Michael Beasley's numbers up was funny, because Ron had no idea himself they added him!
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
I have always found it disturbing that Cameron feels comfortable absolutely BERATING Matt (or Alex) for not being able to find the “right” information on the internet, even though Ron possesses ZERO technological ability! If Ron could ever upgrade from that flip-phone, he could probably teach himself about the mystical, magical World Wide Web while he enjoys his Sunday breakfast at Ram’s Horn in Southfield!briangoleb wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 5:30 pmHilarious..Ron is telling Matt how to use the internet..
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Ron’s a classic bully, always looking to blame someone else. Whether it’s Matt or the Jews in West Bloomfield who won’t go to a restaurant without a coupon.
He asked Matt on Saturday for Tony Sipp’s stats - because of course this is what his listeners want to know - and was surprised that he hadn’t pitched since 7/25, completely unaware that his good friend had been DFA’d.

Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
He sounds like Matt is holding him back from a national syndicated show.
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Ron would have to do some upgrading for his national show. Maybe hire the ‘boom goes the dynamite’ guy to do the scoreboard segment. Cowboy could do his thing with this date in history. And stuttering John can offer his incisive political commentary. Let’s make it happen!
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Let Matt produce it for entertainment value and make Alex a co host to debate Ron like he does and you have a national ratings juggernaut!
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
It surely would be a niche, but not numerically insignificant, audience if Ron's national show targeted the low information listeners with no internet access. Ron would be aces with this population. With our programming ideas and a marketing campaign, we're ready to launch.
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Call it Sports Warp. Like a time warp for sports when the players actually knew how to play the game(as Ron says).
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
lol. I like your Sports Wrap anagram. It’s such a fitting title for Ron’s show.
I wonder how Ron would react to all his many fans here. Would he seethe at all the people laughing at him (apparently a common occurrence since he brings it up all the time) or, with good humor, breezily take it all in stride?
