Seems Ron's toll free number was out yesterday and only the Detroit number was in order,so one of Ron's best and oldest callers didn't opine on the show.

Since Cowboy has called Cameron for 40 years,it's highly unlikely Ron blocked him.And Cowboy isn't homeless, though some of you live in your parents' basement .

It's " Can't Get Used TO Losing You," a vastly underrated Andy Williams song, much like "The Bilbao Song," another boyhood fave.

It was a Cowboy free weekend......no dates of death, no happy birthdays, no incessant ramblings. I'm sure the boys enjoyed the break.

You know you are full of yourself when you talk about yourself in the third person. When is the autograph signing taking place there Cowboy?

Mr.Transistor, you're full of other things besides yourself.(Hint:My father,a slaughter house butcher during the seven years he was laid off at Ford Of Canada, had to clean it behind the pigs, cows and other animals he slew.) Frankly, though,WHY DOESN'T Ron get new, younger callers ? I mean, there are young sports fans in our area, you'd think they'd buzz Sir Graves Grumpy a few times .

But JJ rambled about swimming and cruddy U. of M. basketball players of the 70's and 80's.I'm surprised he hasn't mentioned Jamie "Shoes" Huffman.

Hey not-Cowboy, what do you think of renaming the new bridge between Detroit and Windsor after Cowboy instead of Gordie Howe???

I don't know,EnbyCee .You can come to Windsor, find Cowboy and ask him. (I'm certain Cowboy is a Gordie Howe fan and loves the fact that the new bridge was named after Number Nine,Mr. Hockey.)

One problem is the fact that many of Ron's guests are the professionals from days gone by. Many of them the youngsters do not care who they are or they were players that their fathers/grandfathers used to root for. Ron is very grumpy as you say, I feel bad for the young kid Matt who Ron always rips apart during the show. He needs to snap back at Ron every now and then to keep him in check, kind of like Alex. Someone had asked Ron if he would ever consider having Bob Page on as a guest , Ron never really answered the question but sounds like Ron will hold onto that grudge forever against his former co-host and friend. In the meantime Eli, Denny, and Bob Page have a pretty entertaining podcast going on.
