Ron should have a couple good shows this weekend if his guests come on as he promised. Last week he was talking about having Keith Gave on writer of the Russian 5 and former Detroit Free Press sportswriter. These are some good stories especially how he assisted getting Sergei to the US. Ken Holland was supposed to be his other guest. With Ron however it seems like he sometimes "thinks" he has a guest all locked up for his show and then it doesn't pan out. He's had Keith Gave on before and those were some interesting stories. I agree YM Ionhere it does sound like a train wreck at times. Sometimes the guy will bring his B game and other times D game (D for DUD). You can tell if it is a bad show cause sometimes he will let Cowboy ramble about the most non intelligent topics just to pass the time. Ron will rush Cowboy off the air when he's got the "A" game going.

Ron doesn't rush Cowboy off the air, because Cowboy has been calling him for 40 years. And only in your narrow outlook are Cowboy's topics unintelligent .

The more Ron has to do on his own the worse it is. If he has a good guest on or Alex and Joey provide some counter arguments, it's not awful. All those situations keep him on his toes and keep the show moving.

Leave Cameron and Cowboy alone. I'm not putting them down when I say they both have entertainment value. I listened to the number one radio guy in Detroit this afternoon, Mike Valenti, and I wasn't entertained.

Cameron was doing a pretty interesting interview with Ken Holland, but then cut into it with updates of the UM/MSU game and Pistons game. An update with just the scores would have been OK, but Cameron went into a long analysis of each game, putting Holland on hold. Then he kept asking Holland the same question over and over about Holland's future, and Holland was obviously ticked off about it. Then there was Matt who has no idea how to pronounce any names beyond Smith or Jones.

Why does he constantly have to read box scores on the air? Does anyone care? He also loves correcting callers on names...but he's just as bad or worse... what a Trainwreck...but somehow enjoyable to listen to...

It's enjoyable at times. I think the fact he sucks up to the Red Wings but blasts everyone else who underperforms is a joke. Imagine if Frans Nielsen played for the Pistons...

EnbyCee,I'm sure that were you on the jury who acquitted Emmett Till's Aug. 28,1955 lynchers ,you'd also have voted "Not Guilty" and celebrated with the rest of the Mississippi morons after the "trial" which featured no blacks or women . By the way,EnbyCee, unless you killed me,if we met and you tried something along the lines of your "jest?",you'd be one dead honkie by the time I finished with you.I tried to kill someone at 12,and would hesitate to take out a potential murdering scumbag such as you .

" Sir Graves Grumpy" was his usually crabby self yesterday, lambasting poor Matt for not keeping a boxscore up so Ron could read it .(Though Cameron may well be illiterate ,given his educational and intellectual deficiencies . )

Cameron sucks up to hockey players because most have his dull-normal intelligence range (despite the European advent of the past two generations, most are uneducated small-town Canadian lads ) and he can relate to them more readily than more-educated and outspoken athletes in the other sports .

Cowboy it is quite ironic on how you weekly call into Ron's show with your ridiculous dates of death and birthday dates to entertain Ron not to mention your unintelligent commentaries and you come on here and write how stupid he is, how unattractive he is, etc. Then you paint your broadbrush saying how stupid hockey players are because they come from "uneducated small towns". This coming from the guy who doesn't care for the racial stereotype himself but it's quite ok for you to make your Archie Bunker stereotypes but not ok for others. I think Alex would find this interesting that your'e bad mouthing Ron on the radio/TV buzzboard since you try to come off like his buddy or pal or something, kissing Ron's ass on a weekly basis. Alex is aware of the buzzboard, just fyi. You are a cowardly snake
