First, there was the Harbaugh-led Michigan national championship. Now there’s the Lions a win away from the Super Bowl (“don’t go there”). Even with the futility of the Pistons to give Ron some needed joy, a mental intervention may be necessary.
I wonder how soon Ron will be giving Bob Quinn credit for the Lions' success, like he's done with Al Avila and the Tigers. Quinn had a lot of draft busts, but he did draft most of the offensive line that has gotten a lot of praise, along with Pro Bowler Jalen Reeves-Maybin:
I imagine that Ron very badly wants to tell the world that he was right in predicting that Jim Harbaugh would leave the University of Michigan, just like he left Mr. Cameron 10 times without paying for his lunches.

Yeah, yet another opportunity for Scoop to pat himself on the back. “You heard it here first, fans.”
I was watching this strange movie from the early 60s the other night and got a chuckle out of the cast credits:
I remember back in the 80s, when joking with people about Ron Cameron, it was customary to call him "Cameron," which was a type of honor, to be recognized by one name (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mononym#Other_examples).
Here's a link to the movie. It's pretty good, in a creepy dark way.
All along the icy wastes, there are faces smiling in the gloom.
Is Ron in the building while "Foxy Lady" is playing??? If he is, he'll take a hammer to the studio. To him, Jimi was nothing but a dope smoking hippie, unless he bought Ron dinner in 1969. Jimi Hendrix into Nat King Cole??? Is Ron running the board???

Somebody's in a Hendrix mood today, now it's "All Along the Watch Tower." Maybe it's a veiled reference to the Buzzboard, as we gather "all along the watch tower" to observe Ron Cameron.

I doubt Ron knows from Jimi Hendrix. He knows only (his former guest, the late) Jim Hendrick.
