Our favorite theater of the mind show. with no callers or emailers , wouldn't this be an ideal time to take all those non-hockey emails Ron twice noted were received when Paul Woods was on? The ones Ron said he would respond to today? Is it just a case of the 'con man's gonna con,' or is he trying to impress his guest or advertisers? The lesson I learned long ago with Ron. You can never be too cynical.

Well, here's another Monday meeting with our hero in the PD's office!

Ron: Still jacking around the times on my show!!! Look here you moron, my show is from 3-5...my six listeners depend on these times so they can hang on every word I say!!! That's because I'm THE SPORTS TALK RADIO LEGEND. I don't care if it's a game, another show, or static....I want it dumped at 3 so I can be on the air. My show is the highlight of the week for these 6 listeners. They hang on every word I say because I AM THE SPORTS TALK RADIO LEGEND!!!! GET IT MEATHEAD!!!!!!

PD: I've told you a million times....we have contracts and sponsors for these shows!!!

Ron: TO HELL WITH THESE CONTRACTS AND SPONSORS!!!! My sponsors are more important!!! What are you selling spots for these shows at...a dollar a holler???? I get $3 a holler from my sponsors. If it wasn't for me....this station would get bulldozed. NOW GET WITH IT, or my 6 listeners, or those who can walk without assistance, will be picketing the station. The late start probably saved us 18 minutes of play-by-play of the Michigan game. Poor Ron—he was right on the verge of a big "I told you so!" about the softness of Michigan's schedule, as well as sweet revenge for all the dinners that Jim Harbaugh owes him, and Jake Moody ruined everything.
