I tend to agree with Eli on most things. I'm a very cranky person too. But I think it makes bad radio.

I'm pretty sure most everyone here agrees that Karl is horrible. He went from once every 2 weeks to weekly. He used to actually recap other podcasts and now it's just Dabbleverse shit. I don't know why but I did a deep dive on the Dabbleverse. I had no clue what it even was. If you learn about it, you'll think Karl is an even bigger loser than you already do.

He's obsessed with these losers who have minimal online followings. There are probably a dozen or so losers in this Dabbleverse. And they use abbreviations and pseudonyms. I don't know how a middle aged man thinks it's cool to obsess over this shit. But it must pay the bills.

If you look up WATP on the new York State business site, it's not there. I would love to know the principals of the company and see if Drew is ones of them.

Honestly, if I had to choose either Drew or Karl to talk about this shit, I'd take Drew in a heartbeat. But it's just weird to devote this much time to one or two irrelevant losers on YouTube.

Karl is such a loser that he steals drops from Drew. I'm sure Drew gives permission since he's so far up his ass. And holy shit...Karl is doing "Karl's cop cams" now. It's frightening now

I think once Drew hangs it up, it's over. No one can really take his place. Remember when he was out with back surgery back in the early 2000s? Whoever they had filling in was nothing more than a body running the board. They would have been better off just running best-of's.

Yaldo must pay a fortune in order for Eli to remain a weekly staple. He's good in small doses but 60 minutes? Good God.

At least there's a financial reason Eli is on. I don't understand what Drew gets out of having that moron Karl on. It's so apparent how stupid and bad at "broadcasting" Karl is when he's on. Drew is funnier, smarter, and more eloquent than Karl.

Someone said this earlier in this thread... Adding calls to weird randos would be so great. A couple days ago they called a hotel in Ann Arbor and Drew did his clueless delivery guy act. It was 100x more entertaining than anything else they talked about.

They used to actually discuss crazy stories and tabloids. Now when there not talking sports, it's cop cams or social media shit.

Marc needs to just go. He is smug, arrogant, and unfunny. I guess you have to admire Drew's loyalty to him. Brandon and Jim are much better.

During that time Drew was out, there was a year or two when Jamie Samuelsen did sports and would stay and add to the show (like Trudi when she did news). It was actually decent during that time, and it was funny when they would ask him questions while getting to know him. Anyway, the funniest thing I remember during that time, and I'll never forget is this--

Clark "Are you married?"
Jamie "Yeah, my wife is actually on Channel 7 news."
Clark "Are you married to that blonde hot bitch that does traffic in the morning?"
Jamie "No, I'm married to Kristi MacDonald. That blonde hot bitch is Erin Nicole."

You never expected Jamie to say anything like that, which is what made it all the funnier.

I completely forgot about Jamie coming in and doing that. I just remembered some out of town top 40 jock coming in. Was it Eric Zane? If so, Eric Zane weaseled up Karl's ass and I believe has a show under Karl's "who are these" banner. I may be wrong about who it was though.

Yet another dopey move by Karl. I hate-listened another episode of his and he spent an hour ripping on Bill Maher. Whether you like him or not, Bill Maher has a very good career and knows how to interview people.

Karl mocked Bill for referencing kids getting phones so young that they're going to just start implanting phones in the womb. Karl said, "no you can't implant a phone in a uterus."
No shit Sherlock. I think Karl is autistic.

Karl is the only person who can get me on Stuttering John's side.

I'm pretty much down to one episode a week now unless they have a good guest coming on. I pretty much just listen to the Sunday show after the weekend and they have plenty of content from over the weekend. The show has passed me by for the most part when it comes to the pop culture stuff now. Half the names they mention anymore I haven't a clue who they are. Never was a fan of Drew crime and the cop cams get redundant.

Is what it is, I'm glad I still get to check in on them even once a week.
