Re: Ron Cameron
Ron's going to call the other station & turn them down. The other station responds:

Re: Ron Cameron
Ron's ads for area Dairy Queens inspired me to make my first visit to the lobby of the Dairy Queen that just opened down the street from me. Once inside, I ordered Ron's favorite dessert—a strawberry sundae.

Re: Ron Cameron
An interesting connection between Ron & Larry Fine is that Larry lived a good portion of his life living in a hotel room. I wonder if his maid was ever accused of throwing away any important notes. He did later, finally buy a house in 1947.Momo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 12:02 pmOr at least three.

Missed the first hour of the show on Friday, from review it appears Ron is staying put on WPON and negations have broken down between him and the possible new stations?

Missed a potion of the show, new ad it appears, good that Ron picked up a new ad, as I don’t recall Dairy Queen in the rotation. Must be a full service one as the straight ice cream once may he still closed. Our local one will reopen in a few weeks

Speaking of baseball, where has Ike Blessitt been?

It looks like Jan. 29th was to be Alex's swan song on the show. But I would like to hear how Ron would respond now to his whereabouts. A couple of times last year he went with 'he'll be on in 2-3 weeks" drill.Bobbert wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 2:02 pmA Cameron Chronology for 2023

Maybe Ron requested Rich pay half the brokerage fee.radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 8:15 pm

Re: Ron Cameron
I suspicion the (not-so) hidden hand of the very domineering wife of George Eichorn in Rich’s vanishing act. I think she “wears the pants” in Rich's household, too.radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 8:15 pmIt is a bit interesting with Rich Kincaid-he was one of the guests that would come in studio and be a cohost, a falling out for some reason?
Re: Ron Cameron
I think Ron didn't think too much of Rich upstaging him the last time he was on. Remember, Sports Talk With Ron Cameron, starring Ron Cameron is all about Ron Cameron.
