Yeah I feel that’s where the “problems” as Ron says are coming. No ads, for a show like Ron’s I give him
Credit for hustling and getting ads in this day and age for so long

Thanks for the clarification. That caller sounded as out of touch as Rich from New York, who used to call Ron to get the Tigers' schedule.

He must be spending most of his SS check on it now. He may have to start bussing tables at Ram’s Horn for those meals soon.
Ron is in talks with Al Avila entertaining the idea of taking over hosting duties twice a week at the Belleville Denny's while Al
is busy in the kitchen coming up with new breakfast wrap recipes.

Ron loved Jethro on the Beverly Hillbillies.
Yes, Jethro was a cultural icon. When The Beverly Hillbillies debuted in September 1962, it's fun to speculate how much they affected 17-year-old Ron Cameron, kicking around from job to job, hanging around stadiums, trying to find an identity. But then comes Jethro, with his goofy, random way of going through life, and Ron was a little closer to finding his true path.

My producing credit(s) will have to wait as there was no sign of Ron at the library today. Thinking he'd arrive while I was still there, I left the trivia questions at his appointed desk to avoid any further direct contact. When he didn't show, I retrieved them. Maybe I can get them to him another time.

And yes, the library does provide walkers to patrons in need. One would think that a post-surgery Ron would have his own, but, apparently, that's too much to expect of Ron.

(More) talk of Perry Como yesterday reminded me of this SCTV skit.

Did I miss something or - other than the foot doctor's possible return in three weeks - was there no talk of future guests, even fanciful ones, yesterday?

I thought I heard Jimmy Devellano was touted by Ron as a future guest. Other than that, didn’t hear any other names suggested.

A true classic. Best comedy show ever. Levy as Como is right up there with Dave Thomas’ Bob Hope and Rick Morainis’ Dick Cavett

Yes during Ron’s wing talk with Terry, Ron did bring up having Jimmy D on in the future. Other then that as you know most of the talk centered on o future shows in limbo due to no help available and ad buys drying up

Thanks, that refreshed my memory. And thanks to Bobbert's chronology, we know that Devellano hasn't been on since New Year's Day last year.

SCTV's reimagining of the Andy Griffith Show, with Rick Moranis as Sheriff Merv Griffin, was another classic.

Is this an attempt at humor?
