I wondered about his facts on that also. I remember back in 1968 a buddy of mine played baseball for Our Lady of Sorrows and I know they were using the 3/2 method then.

I also scoffed at his taking credit for the change. It was not his idea to make the change. He only voted for the change, if true. Since three others voted in favor of the change, he should only get 1/4 credit. And this blowhard narcissist pats himself on the back for saving Catholic League Baseball. Were they going to drop the sport if he voted no? Jesus Christ, I didn't see public schools discontinue their programs after not changing to 3/2. Just exactly how did he save it?

If anything happened, there was a vote to continue it in the early 1970s, and Ron was involved. He keeps talking about Frank Tanana, who pitched at Catholic Central in the early 1970s (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Tanana#Early_life). But to take full credit for starting it, he's way off base.

I also played at Our Lady of Sorrows but in 1960 and I think we had the 3/2 count back then and also during the summer of DABF play
