What I'm saying is beggars cannot be choosers.

For those who listen at length to Ron's show, has he trashed WDTK over the past few weeks? If not, could be a sign he is attempting to return.

UT has been on 1500 for some time. Before that they were on 1310 during their talk days. Considering they also advertised Tigers games for a time, and offer in state tuition, it isn't a bad move to promote the school.

Ron trashed WDTK early after the move, but lately he's backed off. Luke has publicly stated here he's had one too many chances, and the N-word incident was the final straw. Whether those higher up overrule him is another story. I do know the station has a brokered daily investment show, plus whatever is on weekends. I don't recall a ton of local advertising during Darryl Wood or the syndicated shows.

I rarely tune into WLQV other than Darryl Wood once in a great while so I have no idea if their religious shows are paying or bartered.

I am agreeing with what edj stated about WDTK, he has not trashed them recently. And as we all know Ron has gone back to stations he has trashed hence his move back to the patriot. Maybe others with more knowledge of the radio business would know more. Would WDTK take him back for the money, with the way he left before?

I know most of us want Mr. Positive as a co-host. Sadly I don't see that. This "co-host" could just be the producer/board op chiming in once in a while.

Which sports figure other than Kincaide living nearby can stand Ron that much? Ray Scott would rather rightly play with his grandkids. Ted Kulfan and Paul Woods are too busy.

Or maybe it'll be Kurt or a very long shot- Meredith.

There were a couple of producers at WDTK who meshed with Ron fairly well. They had a lot of radio poise and asked Ron intelligent questions. If Ron returned to WDTK with one of those guys, it would be a good move.

Rich Kincade would be a great co-host, but when he's been on with Ron he seems to be more on top of things. He's actually better than Ron, and you know Ron, with his massive ego, wouldn't put up with someone upstaging him. Maybe that's why Rich hasn't been on for a while. Ron might have that jealous streak going on.
