Whenever Ron needs to make a big decision, he watches this video.

Although we know not to put any stock on Ron's timetable for making announcements, but "3-4 weeks" for his announcement of a new schedule?! That would put it right in time for his scheduled surgery. With Ron's recovery schedule unknown, what sense does it make to make most-surgery plans before the operation? Unless there's some connection with Ron's possible move to the Townsend. Maybe Ron's plans to both recuperate there &, in an homage to the vintage Tex & Jinx show, use it as his new (temporary?) radio home.

With ads drying up, Ron may go down to one day.

If the Greg-delivered Yellow Pages yields some results, there might be a Ron Cameron Buzzboard HOF nomination awaiting Greg. Of course, in that event, Greg would issue a statement forsaking any interest in being inducted.

I have some breaking news..so Ron has been threatening to leave the station because of Martin for some time now. I told Matt he should reach out to Ron and now it looks like a reunion is in the works. Ron is going to ask Sima if Matt can be hired to work there full time and do his show.
The occasion of reaching the 1500-page milestone has sent me on a journey revisiting the thread’s earliest posts. I had forgotten this one - from Alex - from 12/3/20.

As I sit and watch the Tigers game I am reminded of Ron at this moment. With the Tigers last homestand of the year, Miggy comes up to bat and the Tigers fans give him an ovation. As if that's not enough to make Ron's head explode, I observe a fan with a sign that says "One more year Miggy" . Ron's got be beyond disgusted and I sit back and Laugh Out Loud.

Part of me wants the Tigers to resign him for next year at a major league contract just to hear Ron explode.

In Ron's world, the Tigers haven't been relevant since 1961.

Maybe replacing Lance Parrish in whatever role he has with the team?

Maybe on the last day, Ron will be listening to the radio broadcast, and they'll play a tape of JIm Price calling Cabrera "The Big Man." Then we might see a re-enactment of the last scene from The Fury (at the 1:30 mark).

High schooler Tigers reporter Evan Petzgold is probably right now petitioning all the AL MVP voters to put Miggy in the Top 10, so that he automatically gets a $30 million dollar contract for next year.

Well, the great Oriole third baseman Brooks Robinson passed away yesterday. We wait with great anticipation to hear Ron and Kurt's take on his storied career. No doubt, another "great man" of baseball gone by..
