Because, being the courtly, well-mannered gentleman that he is, one who was raised from an early age to doff his hat & stand in the presence of a lady, while always opening her car door & helping her to her seat, Ron would never leave such a foul impression with a member of the fairer sex.

But if I’m somehow mistaken, my guesses for DeltaDawn‘s identity are either Helen Reddy, deceased & (likely) unavailable as a guest on Ron’s show, or the very live & waiting by the phone Tanya Tucker.

It started out under the title "Ron Cameron In One Word," before being accidentally deleted in 2019. But it roared back to life under its current name and—like Sports Fans' Journal in the late 1980s—is still going strong.

From my personal experience, I can vouch for that phrase. Encountered him once about 30-35 years ago (at Eastland mall). After many uses of the N-word by Ron to describe "today's athletes", I excused myself as to not be in the presence of "THAT" any longer.......

Yes, DeltaDawn’s credentials - although abbreviated - are deserving of introduction into the inaugural HOF class. Now if only we could hear more details from Kidcat. I have family & friends from across North America constantly asking when & where we select inductees will be feted.
