Look for Ron to sponsor a 1961 Tigers reunion...if any of them are still alive...other than Jake Wood.

I may have had a Ron Cameron moment. A few weeks ago, I was playing with Buddy, the very playful dog of the adult son of one of my sister’s neighbors. When I saw Buddy’s dad yesterday, I asked after the dog. It was then I found out that the 13.5-year old Buddy was put down a couple of weeks ago after a sudden illness. It struck me that I was one of the last people to speak to Buddy. RIP Buddy, you were a good boy.

Once again Momo, you crack me up. Sorry for your loss.

This week the Detroit Tigers have been playing the "Cincinnatuh" Reds, whose promising young players include Elly De La Cruz.

Or as Kurt said earlier this year, "Elly, like Elly May Clampett on The Beverly Hillbillies."

With one of the most anticipated home game in recent lions history

I am sure Ron’s show will start like this

Folks the tigers are in trouble, they will win maybe 70 games but with Collengelio, no busses and that high school writer petzod they are in trouble

Open lines everyone……

I’ve stated this here before, but you would think someone like Ron, who makes such a big deal out of himself being the “longest-running blah blah blah” who “tells it like it is”, who now only does “it” two hours a day, two days of the week, would sign on to open his show maybe sounding like he didn’t JUST roll outta the (hotel) bed, and would rather be anywhere else.

I'm most eager to hear Ron's coverage of last night's Michigan Sports HOF induction ceremony. If Ron somehow glosses over his favorite night of the year, maybe Mr. Positive could prompt him on this.

Ron thinks the Michigan Sports HOF is a big scam...because he's not in it.

I picked up a USA Today Sports Weekly this week. The cover story is about the strong defense of the Dallas Cowboys. That will probably be one of today's topics, since that apparently is Ron's primary source of sports information (more than Detroit radio, TV, and newspapers, and certainly more than anything on the Internet).

I think that once again, Ron will be disappointed that he can't do his Sally Field imitation for the world, in his endless search for validation.
