Re: W4 country
Can confirm. Actually getting WQUS fairly well on 103.1.
I'm getting something on 102.9 but not getting RDS. Sounds like some kind of mish mash of opera and religious.

You're hearing the Grand Rapids station in all likelihood.
There's also a chance you're hearing this station mix in:

Re: W4 country
Last time I had 102.9 then-WFUR in this area (Washtenaw County) was during the 2003 blackout. I also pulled in WYFM that day.
Without WWWW's IBOC splashing onto the adjacent frequencies, I'm getting WNDH Napoleon pretty well on 103.1. There's a bit of tropospheric enhancement going on as well which makes this double fun. Fort Wayne/Lima/Dayton area stations are coming in pretty decently, along with some kind of AC station on 93.7 which I'm assuming is WQIO.

Re: W4 country
Nope, I definitely hear some kind of religious preaching. Still no RDS.
Edit: MW is right, it is from GR.

Re: W4 country
Weird. 107.1 is still cranking. Wonder what's up with this.

Re: W4 country
Wouldn't surprise me if this is planned maintenance of some kind.
102.9 broadcasts from a tower in Scio Twp whereas 107.1 broadcasts from an antenna atop an apartment high rise downtown.

Ah, thanks. At a minimum, I was sure they were all in a building off Eisenhower Pkwy but there probably isn't a damn soul in the building.
Sunday evening would be the best time to do it.
I'll be in Dexter tomorrow. Maybe I'll swing by and see what's up

This. I was thinking the same thing. Different towers, and Sunday night being 'slow'. Even at my new QTH in Petersburg, WWWW and it's sidebands are inescapable even during the most intense tropo enhancement, in any direction. It's about as strong as WMIM, WLEN or WQTE here.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 9:17 pmWouldn't surprise me if this is planned maintenance of some kind.

Still hearing WHQG "the hog" Milwaukee fading up over WYHA briefly here and there while pointed about 300, with WDHT in off the back side.
