Ron Cameron
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron will not be a homer! Except for linesmen & his guests.
Re: Ron Cameron
There's no way Ron can fit his life story in a one-volume biography.
Re: Ron Cameron
Calling Kurt, calling Drew. Someone, please, call.
Re: Ron Cameron
Caller #4: Dave from Royal Oak, urging Ron to write a book. Yeah, Ron says, Ted Kulfan's been asking him to do it for some time.

Re: Ron Cameron
This caller seems to be for real. That's one buyer for Ron's book.

Re: Ron Cameron
What a worthless, out of touch show. Why not close it out with 1961 Tigers talk and make the day complete.
Re: Ron Cameron
Caller Dave, you can take Ron's promise to write that book to the bank.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron's picks for today's games to end another stellar broadcast.

Re: Ron Cameron
If Ron can get freebies out of the Townsend then good for him but I really do not see it happening. The clientele at the Townsend actually dress and groom for the public. Ron's car probably wouldn't even be allowed in the back lot.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron was a bit cryptic, but he seemed to be raising the prospect of working out some living arrangement with The Townsend!!! I have occasion to be around that area periodically, so I’m positively giddy at the prospect of seeing Ron in the flesh. I could be one of the untold masses coming up to him on the street to (still) commend him on that Jim Kaat interview.Rm04111234 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 5:15 pmIf Ron can get freebies out of the Townsend then good for him but I really do not see it happening. I don't think Ron's 1962 Pontiac would be allowed in the back lot. Maybe in the weeds behind the back lot.
