NOAA Weather with Android, I haven't found anything close with Apple.

There isn't anything on IOS worth a crap since Apple killed Dark Sky. Their own integration is so unreliable for text warnings, I built my own system to send me and the old lady SMS messages for AWIPS sourced alerts. It works like a champ, at least until the mobile carriers kill off my ability to send automated messages later this year.

Every app on IOS is about pretty graphics on predictions and showing you radar data that may or may not actually be real radar data. Every weather app I've tried is trash when it comes to timely, useful and stateful severe weather alerting. And there's no freaking way I'm loading a TV station's tracker-ware infested clown show app.

Also, I'm noticing the warm-up here in Ypsi. 74 now with a 61 degree dewpoint. Winds are starting to pick up, as well.

The warm front is crawling in my neck of the woods. Finally reached the low 60s in Beverly Hills. Overcast skies. Am hoping to see 70 degrees in next hour to 90 minutes. Even Novi was reporting 69 degrees, so it's damn close now.

I think Toledo will reach 80 today.

Only a measly 3 warnings in the US right now all in central Michigan. I think this is gonna be a dud.

They are in SW Michigan actually, and those storms will be moving into juicy air. The incumbent cloud cover will act as somewhat of a deterrent north of I-94, but along and south of 94, the conditions are highly favorable for at least damaging winds.

73 degrees in Livonia as of 11:33a.

The storms along and behind I-69 are "training."

Moving in a straight line with almost no eastward progression. This is because the warm front, now advancing northward across SE MI, is acting as a retaining wall of sorts.

We will likely start to see some flood advisories or warnings out west and northwest.

If you look out ahead of the main action south of Toledo what was there has fizzled. I’m underwhelmed thus far though I’m holding out hope the action from a Lafayette Indiana to Dayton Ohio line comes this way.

It's fizzled because the warm front lifted north. Better upper level dynamics are also well NW of that area for the moment.

The warm front has finally reached my house. Warm and noticeably humid outside.

The activity over Calhoun County is looking increasingly interesting.

So basically once again (as always), the NWS struggles to predict Michigan weather.

Looking at the current radar as of 12:49PM..... The line of storms has a break in it.... Moving northeast, Looks like Detroit/Wayne County, Windsor/Essex will miss most of this with just rain. We always joke saying there is a bubble over Windsor because we always seem to miss the big stuff.... That bubble seems to be holding up nicely
