I wonder if El Barzon appreciates all the free advertising they get on Ron's show, because they're next to La Noria Ristorante.
I am pretty shocked La Noria/El Barzon are still advertising on the show. I remember visiting that establishment in early July of this year, and then maybe a week later, Ron started reading an ad for them. The fact they are still advertising with Ron goes SO FAR against the usual “one (month of shows) and done” advertisers usually agree to with Ron! Other than the Fenton Hotel (it’s haunted, you know), and Ram’s Horn, these advertisers ghost Ron real quick!
That sports memorabilia place in Grosse Pointe is hanging on pretty well. Maybe because of the high demand for the old Sports Fan Journals that Ron keeps giving them. :)

Ron yells at Alex on the air, then hopes he's a guest tomorrow.
Yeah, if he really didn't want the diversion of being called while on the air there'd seem to be a solution to that.
I actually forgot that he was on early and was trying to confirm my appearance tomorrow. I'll be on both hours.
One thing you might try to do is get Ron off this Haliburton/Hayes obsession. For one thing, it's not going to change a thing. But also, the Pistons got three players out of the first round of 2020 draft, and two of them are starting for them now (Bey and Stewart).

Ron never deviates from his obsessions.

Speaking of obsessions, many on this board are exactly that with Ron Cameron, hence the bazillion posts...

Ron does know about the time change, doesn't he?

Mr. Positive, you were missed yesteday, but if you reemerge today, could you please ask Ron if he's planning to vote in the election. I seem to recall Ron - perhaps owing to the fact that the vagabond's never had a permanent residence - saying he's never voted. Other, that is, than his crucial tie breaking Catholic League vote.

You'd think that after watching so many episodes of Match Game that he'd know the value of a single vote.

I can hear the response now-In Ron voice “this is a sports show” as the Ron goes on to explain his votes in history that changed time :)

If Alex is on today, will this be a football midway point discussion

If only you were in-studio, Alex, to keep Ron from riffling through the paper.

The Lions game is still in progress, so we'll definitely have a football discussion—one painful play-by-play at a time. :(

Sure, Ron, we can talk about the 4 o'clock games. What are your predictions, Ron?

Three minutes in, and Alex has made the show listenable. I have to ask, are the Giants for real or a mirage like I think?
