Ron probably wasn't driving at 24 because he couldn't get a deal on a 1962 Pontiac. Or, maybe the SOS wouldn't put "Sports Talk Radio Legend" on his license. And speaking of Wayne State Football cutting into his time, can you just picture this meeting?

Ron: Why the hell is WSU football cutting into my show!!! After all I'm the "Legend of Sports Talk Radio".

Station PD/GM: We have a contract to carry the games. We make MONEY off carrying the games.

Ron: Then get WSU to push back the starting times back to 11am. After all I'm the "Legend of Sports Talk Radio"!!!! All 6 listeners want to hear a FULL 2 hours!!

Station PD/GM: Game times are not under our control.

Ron: Then call whoever and tell them to either push the games back to 11am, or at night. After all I'm the "Sports Talk Radio Legend"!

Station PD/GM: We can't do that!!! We have a contract.

Ron: To hell with the contract. This is Wayne State...nothing but a glorified high school team. I'll get Perry Mason and my team of lawyers on this one. We'll fix 'em. And if that doesn't work, I'll dig Al Capone out of the Fenton Hotel.

Station PD/GM: After Ron storms out the door, he pulls out a bottle of Jack Daniels and starts in on it. He then mutters to himself...why...why????
