As of this morning, greater Cleveland was 16-18 inches. So, the bullseye appears to be northern Ohio.

Showing 8-12 now there. I clicked on all of the ones on the map. They don’t rank in the top 10 now. There are lots of 10-15’s across northern Ohio and Indiana so I think we are the northern fringe of said bullseye.

I think my projections from yesterday morning are still in good shape. The only change is to raise my projections for the Flint, Lapeer and Lansing areas to a 6 to 9 inch range.

One more change:
I'm lowering my totals for the areas south of I-80 on the Ohio side from 12 to 16 inches to 10 to 12 inches.

Onset of snow there today will take longer than first expected, and tomorrow's snow doesn't like quite as potent as previously thought (but will still be substantial).

My very first general forecast of 6 to 10 inches region wide might prove to be the most accurate!

My updated ranges:
- 6 to 9 inches for Lansing and Flint (no change).
- 6 to 9 inches for Oakland and Macomb (reduced from 7 to 10).
- 7 to 10 inches for I-94 corridor (reduced from 8 to 12).
- 8 to 11 inches for border counties in Michigan and for Toledo area (reduced from 10 to 12 or 10 to 14 inches).

Vast majority of snow in nearly all areas will fall today or tonight. Most of Metro Detroit will see only 1 to 2 inches of new accumulation tomorrow. Closer to the state line, up to 4 inches will be possible.

Parts of central Ohio where some models were forecasting 16 to 20 inches just a couple days ago might only see 3 to 6 inch storm totals! LOL

The that is falling in Metro Detroit right now is very wet. A healthy shovel full might weigh damn near 15 lbs.

Snow to water ratio right now is probably 6:1. Most of the model data shown on TV and online is based on 10:1.

I think a lot of that snow were were supposed to get came down as rain and the first couple inches of snow we are getting is just getting melted in that previous rainfall. I'm wondering if we'll really get HALF of what was predicted a couple days ago. Also doesn't look like Thursdays accumulation is going to be much of anything for everyone except maybe Monroe and Lenawee
