I wasn't quite sure if this query should go here or the Political forum.

As I watch the Sunday morning news programs, I find myself not interested in journalists opinions. I'd like to see the "Sunday Panel" of news people and retirees replaced by 4 currently elected officials. I don't care what some staffer has to say either.

That's one of the reasons I liked "Michigan Matters". She always (as far as I know) had someone notable from Oakland, Macomb and Wayne there to answer questions. Would be nice to see something similar at a state and national level.
