The Amazing Dr. Pol

Post by Turkeytop » Wed Jun 10, 2020 12:46 am

Been seeing this show on TV. Dr Pol has a vet clinic somewhere in MI. They describe him as "The World Famous Vet.'

He does seem pretty good. Some of the stuff I can't watch, like when he's ramming his arm up inside a cow. Do any of you know of him?

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

If you think ramming an arm up inside of a cow Is pretty good than he must be pretty good. Now I don’t know of him but if I see a guy dressed up like a veterinarian with a brown sleeve on tv I’ll be the first one to let you know.

Yes.

Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

His clinic is located in rural Isabella County, smack dab in the middle of the state. Probably 10 to 15 minutes outside Mt. Pleasant.

I used to watch his show; got tiresome after a while.

The scenes where he shoves his right arm up a cow's ass gross me out. The part where he extracts his arm from the cow's ass upon completion of examination is BY FAR the worst!

Tonight he was treating a goat with polio. I thought polio had been eradicated. And I didn't know goats could catch it..

Every so often there's an outbreak in places like India and Ethiopia. This might be due to the breakdown in the inoculation process. I did horrible in high school Biology so don't ask me about goat infections.

Doing something like that could mean that the cow is having a breach birth, and he is trying to turn the calf around before it is born.

After watching the show on and off for a few months, I've determined people in Michigan have weird pets. Camels, Llamas, Alpacas, goats, Emus, Reindeer --

So, the show has been pulled. The Doctor got into trouble for incorrectly performing some procedure. He's been disciplined by whatever body regulates veterinarians in MI.

The complaint against him wasn't by one of his own clients. It was by someone who observed the improper procedure on TV.

Too bad. It was one of only a few shows I even watched.
