C2CAM gone from CKLW?

Once in a while, before retiring for the night, I'll check out Coast To Coast AM, on AM800 CKLW. It's a guilty pleasure. I like "Dr. Sky" the astronomy guy and the weird old "UFO Reporter" who weekly tells of rural folk who see triangular shaped glowing objects ripping across the sky (even though most everybody has a smart phone, nobody gets him a photo or video). But I digress...
For the past couple of weeks, CKLW has not been carrying C2CAM, instead airing an iHeart-Canada national call-in show. So Detroit native George "this corona thing is no worse than the seasonal flu" Noory does not presently have an outlet in his home town. Of course, tuning across the AM dial at 1 AM, you'll find C2CAM on some 50kW blowtorch or other every few kHz or so.

CKLW airs the show on weekends. I listened last night, and Noory was going on about how you shouldn't have to be vaccinated. I wonder if CK decided C2CAM is guilty of spreading misinformation and works against the public interest? If so, I wonder if it will return after the coronavirus situation is over.

Well, C2C never came back to CKLW in its full capacity. Unrelated, I noticed the past few nights that WCAR has been off the air, so I got to work trying to DX 1080 and 1100. This was an opportunity for me since I live a mile from WCAR and it’s a nuisance signal to me, typically preventing me from hearing anything on 1080 and 1100.

As I was on 1080, WCAR came blasting in over my speakers. It is airing C2C AM with George’s looney conspiracies tonight. Not sure if it’s permanent. Wasn’t it sports radio before?

I totally read this wrong. LOL! I am thinking why would CKLW support cam to cam activities...
