The new TV season starts in roughly two weeks. Are their any new shows that might sound interesting to you? Are they their shows you're looking forward coming back? I know I do this every year but a thread like this always brings some traffic.

Chicago Fire and Chicago PD - but DirecTV and NBC25 are in a pissing match with each other and I haven’t been able to watch NBC programming since the end of May

Will check out some of the new CBS comedies. One starring Billy Gardell, another starring Patricia Heaton. I think her's is called "Carol's Second Act." His doesn't have a name that is easy to remember. Bob Heart's … somebody I can't spell or pronounce, but Billy Gardell was funny on his last CBS show "Mike & Molly" so I'll give his new one a chance. "Stump Town" on ABC is a new drama that looks interesting to me, starring Colbie Smoulders.

I saw Bob Heart Abishola last night. It was pretty good. It had the same kind of rhythm and humor of Mike And Molly. Also the show takes place in Detroit, (Bob meets Abishola at Woodward Hospital which i guess is like Harper Hospital.)

Yes, and he's a sock salesman, which is one of the ways he got her attention, by giving her pairs of comfortable socks. Looking forward to next Monday's new episode.

Damn Dick Wolfe- WTF with the three Chicago shows Wednesday night (Med, Fire, PD) -everyone had a person dead as a doornail- how damn depressing, and then the 11 o-clock news comes on with more bad stuff. NBC should mail out anti-depressants for the Wednesday lineup!

I watched Bluff City Law last night. Meh is the best way to put it, (almost turned it off in the middle.)

There are zero interesting new shows in my opinion. There's just none. Sunnyside looked interesting. I wanted to like it but I just couldn't. Don't blow it, Mike Schur. You've made some great stuff in the past but this might be your first dud.

That being said, I'm looking forward to the final season of The Good Place. I enjoyed episode 1 and can't wait to see how the rest unfolds.

I'm hopeful of season 31 of The Simpsons actually being good but, let's be honest here, that's probably an irrational wish.

This Is Us's new season is too complex, I go on about that in another recent comment.

The Good Doctor started okay, but I didn't think it was that good. Hopefully they step up their game in the coming episodes.

Fox's new animated sitcom Bless the Harts doesn't look that good in my opinion, but I'll give it a watch once it premieres tomorrow and see what I think before I give it a thumbs-down.

The Simpsons is still watchable but stale. Skinner's line about the Tot Offensive was pretty funny. I'll give Bless The Hearts a few more tries though at times it reminded me of Mama's Family, (I was never a fan of that show.)

Still Haven't watched Evil and Stumptown . (Actually I'm waiting for a show called Stumpftown, about a struggling Major League pitcher.)

Sunnyside has been axed by NBC, though additional episodes will be shown online. It will now join the list of infamy of shortest running TV shows:
(South Of Sunset, Quarterlife, Emily's Reason Why Not, The Playboy Club, The Beautiful Life, can anyone think of anymore?)

Wow. Even for NBC, that's low.
